Recently moved to The Hague, although I am looking for a place with more nature around. Making more time for myself to make and play music through various projects, but feel I want more time to focus on this. Still working as a freelancer, now in my 14th year of business! Personally doing a lot of self-exploration.

After years of having the idea to do something with teaching I got connected to Mind.Mingle() and just finished teaching at the 10-week bootcamp, which was a great (and intense) experience. Now entering the six-month job search period, where we guide them to their first job!

🎧 Music

  • Preparing for an amazing drumcamp with Benny Greb and Gavin Harrison!
  • Finished the release plan for our new track called "M" for my drum-and-bass project Liquid YS. Available on Spotify soon!
  • Just recorded an EP with my band Karvel at Small Pond Studio, Brighton. Busy with mixing, mastering and making videoclips.
  • Learning to play piano.

✨ Miscellaneous

  • Used to play Padel weekly with a nice group, but had to stop because of planning issues. Now looking for individual matches, hit me up if you want to play a game!
  • Started weekly Taiko drum-lessons! It's a new approach to drums and definitely a full body workout.
  • Exploring how to be more mindful about myself by focussing on the seven types of rest.
  • Slowly learning to read/decipher Cyrillic.
