I'm a freelance creative developer with a strong programming foundation and a passion for visual-, experience-, and interaction-design.
I like to bridge the gap between technology and human interaction, creating solutions that are both technically robust and purposefully usable. I focus on building web applications and helping other developers grow in their career.
My Journey
I started freelancing during my Communication & Multimedia Design studies in Rotterdam and never looked back. The freedom to work with different companies, explore various work domains, and learn new methodologies has kept me passionate about this path for years.
Over the years, I've worked with companies ranging from startups to corporates like Schiphol Airport, Aegon, T-Mobile, and NOS. Each project teaches me something new and reinforces my belief that great technology should give more time back to people using the software instead of keeping them at their computer longer.
What sets me apart is my combination of technical expertise and design sensibility. I don't just write code, I question and balance the job-to-be-done with business requirements, to ensure sustainable but flexible solutions.

Beyond Code
When I'm not puzzling in code, you'll find me behind my drum kit or producing music in Ableton. I love creating both solo and collaborating with other artists, there's magic in bringing different creative minds together. My playlist spans from progressive metal to drum and bass, often inspiring my own musical creations.
Recently, I moved to Norway seeking more peace and connection with nature, which has opened up a world of hiking adventures. I love to read, from diving into fantasy fiction as well as books on UX design, personal growth, and entrepreneurship. Which is especially nice next to the fireplace. I love to cook with whatever I have on hand and I love playing board games or getting lost in a D&D campaign with friends.
